Livni: Netanyahu not after two states

without comments

livni“Netanyahu doesn’t really believe that two states, a Jewish state and a Palestinian state, even a demilitarized one, is in Israeli interest,” the opposition party leader Tzipi Livni said on Monday, while addressing lawmakers at the Knesset. “But the prime minister was surprised to encounter the outside world and placed Israel, to my great sorrow, in the position of the party that is rejecting peace and then he understood that at this stage he needs to utter the words ‘two states’,” she said.   Read More…

US and Russia agree to nuclear cuts

without comments

russia-usThe nuclear framework deal commits the two countries to cut the number of nuclear warheads they each hold after the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (Start-I) expires in December. “Within seven years after this treaty comes into force, and in future, the limits for warheads linked to … [strategic delivery systems should be] within the range of 1,500-1,675 units,” the framework agreement reads.

MTW comment: It smells like a psych-op for the masses. Realistically, an isolated deal between the US and Russia does not make any sense, given that the remaining nuclear countries are mostly allied with the United States through NATO and other arrangements. In fact, a reduction of American and Russian nuclear warheads to 1500 – 1675 each would eliminate the global balance of power and undermine Russia’s security to a greater extend than the proposed missile shield in Eastern Europe that Russia so consequently opposes. Strange, to say the least.

Medvedev: Iran’s nuclear program can only be seen as peaceful if it develops under IAEA

without comments

nuclear_iranIran’s nuclear program can be described as truly peaceful only if it develops under the auspices of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). /…/ With regard to nuclear weapons, they pose a threat to all neighboring countries so we need to keep track of this process extremely closely. But of course we will develop normal relations with Iran – we believe that this is correct.

Israel agrees delivery of assault rifles to Palestinians

without comments

abbas4If anyone had any doubts as to who Mahmoud Abbas represents…

“Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak has authorized the delivery of a thousand Kalashnikov assault rifles to the security forces of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), an Israeli newspaper said on Monday.”

Israel delivers Russian Kalashnikovs to Abbas, so that Israeli-trained PNA can kill Palestinian patriots defending their land and challenging its annexation? I had to write this down to believe it.

Interesting… Israel deals in Kalashnikovs, the primary weapon of rebels, terrorists, and guerrilla-fighters around the world.   Read More…

Russia urges that the Middle East peace process should continue not from scratch but on a solid international law basis

without comments

lavrov2Russia suggests calling a ministerial meeting of the four international mediators in a Mid-Eastern settlement and the mediators’ meeting with the Arab League’s Committee as early as next month. This came in a statement by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during his talks with the Syrian President Bashar Assad.

Moscow says it is certain that the agreements reached at the UN Security Council, called on Russia’ initiative on the 11th of this month, will provide for interaction with all parties to the conflict to prevent any departure from the peace process and start that process on a solid international law base, rather than from scratch.    Read More…

Goodbye Palestine

without comments

borgWell, you gotta hand it to Israel, the Borg have been working on bringing more foreigners to live in Isra-Hell so as to squeeze out the Palestinian native population from their land. Yup, 5,000 more arriving soon to help the evil rogue state steal more land. And a special thanks to America and Canada, cos 3,000 of the 5,000 Zionist cockroaches are coming from your two countries alone.  (Source: Irish4Palestine)

MTW comment: The last paragraph of the Haaretz source article for this entry reads,

Eli Cohen, head of the Jewish Agency’s department for immigration and absorption, cited the worldwide economic crisis as the primary motivator for the spike in immigration. “Israel is perceived as an island of stability compared with other places,” he said.

That being said and documented, perhaps it’s time to stop the $3bln anuual “aid” to Israel, extracted from American taxpayers who are losing their houses, jobs and dreams, so that Israel can build illegal settlements for illegal settlers in the illegally occupied Palestinian land.

Israeli “Hit List” – What is Israel up to?

without comments

attack-iranI wrote about this the other day. The county formerly known as Egypt, has allowed Israel to use it’s waters to position Israeli Nuclear Submarines off the shores of Iran. And today we see more surprise moves by Israel “suddenly” wanting to join NATO. That’s like seeing Israel suddenly becoming involved in Amnesty International. So, either the world is spinning off it’s axis, or something is amiss.  (Source: Irish4Palestine)
